To protect ourselves we need to understand more about what connects us and how the Beast drives us apart–from each other and from the huge majority of people in the world who, like us, want peace, justice and equality.
Deepening understanding of our reality as activists, and depicting our reality fully and fairly, help strengthen connection among ourselves and with the wider community.
Fully and fairly depicting our reality–in nonfiction and in fiction–strengthens our connection to ourselves and others, and counters
Increasing awareness and fighting back against the marginalizing, stereotyping and otherizing narratives that the Beast relies on to disconnect us.
