Post-Election De-Stress with Fiction Featuring Activists!

We were excited to have a nice turnout for our initial webinar on fiction featuring activists. Juliana, the intrepid POA team, and characters Granny Gus, Detective Drunella and Sour Puss all contributed to an informative, lively presentation of our work on the need for highlighting existing fiction featuring activists and for creating more fiction that fully and fairly represents our indispensable first responders to injustice.

We’re launching the Protect Our Activists Resources List on the eve of the 2020 election. The list will contain resources for protecting activists and movements in many areas, but we are focusing first on guides and resources being put forward by many groups on protections for people in the streets protecting their rights to expression, assembly and voting, not to mention the right to remain free from being mistreated by forces attempting to deny the exercise of these rights.

If you come across other good resources in this and any area of protection–in the largest sense of loving support–for activists and activism, please share them by clicking on the graphic.
