In Understanding Activists we explore the nature of activism, activist culture, and the activist community.
We look at how increasing this understanding through discussion, reflection and participant-observation in the heart of the activist community can help foster a better climate for activists and activism, connect activists across the tremendous diversity of our community, and inspire more people to claim our personal right and collective power to shape our society and rescue our world.
And we look at how greater understanding can be of very practical help in protecting activists in the many circumstances where we run afoul of the Beast in the pursuit of justice.
RAINWOOD HOUSE SINGS, a social justice mystery, paints an authentic picture (with a hint of magic) of eveyday activists fighting for justice in their lives and communities, tackling mysteries large and small with creativity, humor, and collective action.
